So you think a girl was trying to pick you up…but you’re not sure.

This is a popular question, very recently I had a bi curious woman ask me, how do you know when a woman is flirting with you or trying to pick you up?

Well, I can see how it could be difficult to decipher an overly friendly woman from a bi sexual or lesbian woman. This problem is especially common in straight venues, where women who swing both ways are forced to keep a low profile while still sending signals of interest to possible candidates for girl fun.

If a person is across the room the first clues usually require you to read body language, eye contact is key...women have a tendency to lock eyes with someone who they are attracted to...usually for 5 seconds or more.

Second, would be touching, if she has an opportunity to be close to you, she'll let you know by touching you in key areas...hands, wrists, lower back or hair.
You also have to notice how quickly she’ll work to get your attention…she won’t continue stalking if her signals go unnoticed, it’s best to at very least get her cell number to confirm her advances at a later date.

Fortunately if it’s in a straight venue I can guarantee that the woman looking to acquire your affection will be quite forward in her approach but it’s up to you to seize the moment and take the bait!
